Lisa’s Talks
& Some of her Favorite Talks by
Some Favorite Friends
We have assembled here a great variety of Lisa’s talks given
mostly at CFO (Camps Farthest Out) retreats and events. Lisa
has been an invited speaker at these events since the fateful
day in 2003 in Canada when Colonel Bo Bottomly gave up one
of his speaking slots to her, saying, “You’re speaking tonight.
Go get ‘em.” Lisa spent all her free time that day pouring over
scripture and preparing for that evening’s talk in front of 50
people, including many youth and children. Since then, Lisa has
become well-known for being a prepared but equally spontaneous
speaker. She says her delight is when things shift and you
HAVE to leap into the unknown. Lisa has also followed after the
modeling of Colonel Bo, and frequently gives opportunity to young
people to speak in her place. Mentoring by modeling is one of her
passions!
Some of her talks have been recorded and we share them with
you here. You’ll find everything from Youth leadership talks to
CFO Leadership talks to “one shot” talks to week long retreat
talks all gathered here. We have organized them with the most
recent talks on the top of the list, but with talks from the same
event presented chronologically (1-2-3) which is the best way to
listen to them.
Lisa has also been collecting audio recordings of some of her
favorite friends’ talks, and has presented them here for your
listening pleasure. If you click on each friend’s photo, you will go
to their page with a description of why Lisa thinks you would like
their talks, as well as the ability to either download the audio files
or listen here on the site. Included are additional photos of these
friends, with photographic proof that these are in fact friends!
We hope you enjoy this feature of the site...please share any
comments on the contact Lisa page!
