Moving My Memories
How disquieting it is
to know that
soon
my memories of you
will be taken out
on rainy days of the soul
held close to my heart
(the ache still with me)
and gently put back in the box
in the attic
with all the other cherished
moments of my life.
How I fight this death.
Lisa B. LaLonde
